i just acquired a pc with 4gb of ram but I would have thought that this would be more of a processor issue.

I recently bought a book that talks about modeling and they mentioned a poly count on a model exceeding 2 million.

What kind of pc would you need to odel something that large? how is this usually...

is this specifically for faces? I never move faces, just verts and maybe edges. Is it ever practical to move faces?

What does it mean to move something along its normal? What's the difference between moving something along its normal or using the move tool?

same here. i bought a laptop with vista and i was in hell. i had to uninstall and install xp. and since i had vista legally, i saw no moral missue with installing a bootleg copy of xp.
