mhcannon: Thanks! Yeah, I had gotten pretty used to 3ds max, but already I'm taking a liking to Maya. It just seems more intuitive in general. Although a few tools that I use a LOT, I've been having lots of trouble with. Particularly bevel and the booleans. Bevel seems very picky, it often makes cuts almost parallel to the faces, which is weird to me. Sometimes "world space" fixes it, but sometimes it doesn't. And the boolean operations are a pain. I use them in modeling a lot, but Maya seems VERY picky on when it lets you complete them. 90% of the time both objects just disappear. Performing clean-ups on the objects sometimes works, but more often than not I'm forced to work around by cutting and extruding faces. Any ideas?

pixelsoul: Okay, yeah I see what you mean. Easily solved though, I'll just put some dummy objects around for reflection. The roof reflection just comes from a big white plane above the car ^^;; The headlights came out well, but were pretty easy to make. There's an object inside with a headlight texture on it, and then just a couple objects on top for shape, and then mirrors on the walls, and a plastic/glass cover. I tried building the whole headlight according to blueprint/pictures, but this came out well. Of course, I'm not sure yet what it looks like in animation, haha.
