G'day there, I'm a student who recently just installed Maya 8.5. I was told my specs would be fine for running Maya but whenever I'm zoomed in on my model; mainly texture mode, it runs very sluggish and slow when rotating etc.

These are my specs (I recently bought this computer 1 1/2 months ago.)

Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.40GHz
1023.5 MB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT (GeForce 7600 GT)
Running Windows XP Proffesional SP2

I'm tried adjuststing settings etc. but makes no dif, so what would be the best thing to do right now?
