That's a great idea. I've been getting some pretty good AutoCAD experience (from being self taught) so I feel pretty darn good about that suggestion. I did a 3d model of the church I attend, in AutoCAD to get a good comparison to Maya. I like Maya much better but it is easier to get accurate and precise dimensions with AutoCAD.
