I dont like mario either.....

I think they are needed ( a necessary evil, if you think of them as evil)
We need the competition or other companies would just rest in their laurels.

Although, having said that, they practically killed sega (and with it the chance for a (proper) shining force sequel (not a first person sequel) )

Sonic could kick mario.......
