I guess you can call it "involved", having ash cover everything sucked but that was nothing compared to people having to migrate and losing loved ones, homes, businesses, crops and livestock.

It had a gritty feel to it because there is powdered rock and glass in it, don't know how you'll capture that visually lol but I said it so you could feel what I'm talking about.
