I'm sure it is the same tutorial in the 4.5 book that's in the 4.0 book. You're correct the book does not deal with the water plane being visible inside the boat.

I was just wondering if there was a quick fix for the water plane issue. I'm assuming the book will cover the issue in a later chapter, I'm just impatient.

Would making the boat a collision object solve this as Ultragames suggested?
