Should I make each one separate and then go about scaling it to fit my model?
How do you build clothing/armor for game characters?
How do you make the gear, "stick", to the model?
1) You should model the object on the body, as it would sit normally, as a separate piece.
2) You model it like normal. Take a look online for poly modeling cloth tutorials.
3) Do you mean when it's moving? You would have to rig the character first.
Imagination is more important than knowledge.
