Hi, would anyone have experience of getting best results rendering fur.

Mental Ray - or Maya Software?

Maya software for me seems to be alot faster and gives a good result along edges.

But the quality of mental ray seems to be softer, better, but edges are not as fine.

What settings work best on lights - Raytrace or depth map shadows?
