airplane interior/exterior modeling
Hi,
I am relatively new to Maya, and would like some suggestions on how I would hollow out the interior of the airplane Ive been working on. Granted, I should have began with a polygon pipe from the beginning, I did not. I tried duplicating the body of the aircraft and just scaling it down, but realized I only made a solid cylinder inside another. The animation I am creating is a first-person perspective "tour" of this airplane, starting on the outside and moving into the airplane.....if only I had an inside. any suggestions would be appreciated! I have attached a screenshot of the model I am working with to show where I am at with this project.
