This has happened to me several times in the past now, and twice within the last half hour. It occurs when I'm trying to make a curve, and then try to pan the view a little. Maya freezes, followed by the whole computer. I have left the PC in the past to see if it recovers with some error message, but no luck. The only fix is a full reset.

I would appreciate any help in figuring out what causes this, curves are very useful for many things and I'd like to use them.

My PC specs:

AMD Athlon x4 645
8GB Ram
Radeon HD5770

Using Windows 7 pro, and Maya 2014.
