Originally posted by Darkware VideoMach is good. It's a free download, but I'm not sure if it supports IFF. I know fcheck doesn't for some strange reason. Is it at all possible to re-batch render in tiff or better yet - targa? yes it is possible to reencode in differant file type. but no need to re-render, fcheck is enough for this kind of change. just open the animation, and save animation as - and if you save as e.g. tiff or targa (whatever your compositing software supports) then it converts the images - only that it cannot save as avi. but the avi "encode" of maya is not meant for playback as it is NOT compressed. oh and virtualdub is also good - supports targa sequences.
