Back on topic, you could try turbosquid. They provide models for purchase.

Maybe, but are you sure about that ? I could have it already done buy now. Higher quality and for less than what he might find on terbo squid. Wander if he is still serching.

Still, it's a option.

Not to mention If I remember roughly where UglyNakedGuy works at. He might need to be able to negotiate reproduction rights. It will probably need to be a original. If what ever he is working on becomes a hit. Music video etc. The place he works for might not like other people doing knock offs using the exact same model.

Just some thoughts. They might not apply in his case. But with him needing it NOW.. I'm assuming its for a production.

So it’s not out of context.

Hi Pony

Love ur comment. :-)

U will be AMAZED how many pro's who is doing 'Rip-offs.'

I was stunned one evening when i saw this comercial for a Danish Company called "Europæiske rejseforsikring."

They have made a suitcase floating in water.
The water is excactly the water u find in "Ocean examples" in the "Visor" in Maya. The ocean called 'Gigantic Storm."
The foam - the 'particle fluid effects flying in the wind' - the waves - the camera - NOTHING is changed. ( I am just thinking to myself; "how much did the company pay for that") :-D

Anyway - i found a place - it's not free, but they have a LOT of models.

Thanx for replying everybody - good luck out there! :-)

who cares if it's a rip off? if the clients like it and you're not breaking any laws and it saves you time and/or money then good.

but it was a nice bit of self-promotion by Pony user added image
