Middle Mouse Button Blues

Has anybody encountered a problem in Maya where the middle-mouse button just stops working and you can no longer pan using Alt-MMB? Closing Maya and reopening seems to fix it but it's very annoying!!!
That'll do donkey... that'll do...

if you have a mouse program to set options, like the stuff that comes with logiteks (what ever there name). try runing that real fast. It might reset it. Does on mine.

Mine is a Logitech also, and that did the trick... cheers! user added image
