This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
OK can anybody help with how to set up a camera manually to emulate your own personal choice of real life camera, I've tried playing about with focal lengths, apature, ratios and so on, and i have so far managed to get pretty close, but close isn't quite good enough for what i'm trying to do. If anyone has any information on this subject I'd be more than appreciative of thier help.
basically i have a camcorder that I have set up how i want which i am using to shoot footage, i want to then overlay using after effects my maya produced animations, what i want to do is set up a camera object in maya that will emulate the field of vision, focal length and other attributes of my trusty camcorder so when i come to overlay the CGI will have the same perspective as the video footage.
