This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
After going though billions of tutorials, this is the first model I've done, all the way from drawing sketches to texturing. A few more details to add to the head are more wrinkles and eyelids. Can't wait to complete the full body and try my luck at animating this little creature.
The texture is probably temporary. I was trying some free downloadble shaders, but I couldn't get a good effect, so I tried a simple Brownian procedural texture with a bump map.
