What is the best way to animate a car in a city???

well..if i had to animate a car in a city i would build the model for the car, then the city itself...after that...to animate it im thinking i would keyframe the motion of the car that i wanted until it looked good, maybe use a motion path? set up some lights, and render that bad boy ; )

it really depends on the animation type.
most car setup are dynamic these days
best choice is MEL, motion path is ok, but you have not that great of control. aggain it all depends on the car scene and what you want to acheive.
