Cloth - Help Me!!

hello, can anyone give me few tips about making pants for my character?! i followed few tutorials about it but cannot seem to do it right. i menaged to make a t-shirt though. thanx in advance for any help!

model th pants from lofted curves, or from a poly cilynder
