Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Blendshapes w/ Michael McKinley... and Video Suggestions

I'm a new VIP member. I'm also an intermediate Maya user and am in the final stages of rigging a decent character. In the last few seconds of Kurt Boutilier's 1st Lip Sync video, he mentions there's a much more indepth coverage of blend shapes by Michael McKinley. I looked, but i couldn't find which one that might be. I'm guessing maybe one of the 6 parts of "Character Project - Rigging" video... but if so, which parts in particular. I'm only interested in intermediate or advanced blendshape stuff.

PS: I like the selection here, but I would also like to see more advanced videos like that of "Advanced Lip Tutorial" by Chris Fram. Maybe some topics like Character Deformation Setups, Blendshapes, Expression Setup for Clavicle Control when Arm is Raised Above Shoulder Level, Cluster Use, Soft-Body Dynamics vs Cloth on Characters,... just some suggestions that I myself would be interested in downloading.

Thanks,
AnimBoy

Me too. That guy is a lazy bugger! Someone should poke him with a pointy object.

Seriously, I'll be working on the T-Rex Setup and Animation DVD which will have a whole pile of super-neato tips and tricks. And maybe if I get off my lazy butt I'll do a shoulder rig tutorial someday...
