menu bar

I am not sure how it happened but I have lost my menu bars in my viewpanes, you know, the shade options, view, perspective, yadda yadda. This is causing me a great deal of inconvienience and I cant seem to find out how to turn them back on. Any suggestions?

I believe there's an option in the Window > Settings/Preferences > Preferences, UI or Interface section.

Just an FYI, Shift + m will toggle your panel menus on/off. Ctrl + m will toggle the main menu up top.
