Cartoon Dog Help, Noob Question

To start off, I have highly enjoyed this Cartoon Dog tutorial and have learned a ton. In fact, I liked it so much that I ordered the T-Rex Modeling DVD and the Organic Modeling 1 DVD. However, I am on Part 3 of the Cartoon Dog Tutorial (about 2:13 in) and can't get my vertices to merge. I can't figure it out! I'm new to Maya and am pretty sure it's just a simple fix, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out.user added image Thanks in advance.

Glad you are learning so much from the tut and thanks for supporting SM.

Sounds like you need to up the merge verts number

Under edit polygons find merge vertices and click on the option box. Add a higher value where the numbers are, I have mine set at 4.000 but that is high and is my preference. This should get ride of your problems.

Thank you so much! Works perfect now. I can't believe I've learned this much already. I can't wait for those DVDs! In fact, I'm going to try to finish the rest of the dog by myself.user added image
