Sculpt Surfaces

I am following a tutorial with my maya personal learning editon V6.0, on modeling. The tutorial has me using the scult surfaces tool. However in the tutorial the guy has several tabs and options available to him on the tool, such as mask, that i do not have. The tutorial is from maya, and is supposed to work with PLE. What is wrong?

I have done so, and have the tool options before me, but I don't have nearly as many options has the guy on the tutorial has. I have also looked at tutorials from other online websites for the tool, and all of them also show the tool's option box with a different layout from mine, that has all of the tabs and options

You need adobe acrobat to view the file. Look at the pictures that display the tool, and see all the tabs at the top? That is what i can't see

Oh yeah you will need to register, it is free but annoying. It is from digital-tutors.com

I sent you a .bmp picture of it, hope you don't mind
