How do you make 2 faces into 1 for the nose?

Hi guys,

I have a subdiv problem. I use the split tool to cut the cube to make a human face. For the nose....I cut it into 2 parts. So when I extrude the faces, it well, looks horrible.
Is there anyway, I can cut out the vertices so I can have 1 face instead of 2 faces to extrude the nose? Here is the pic.

Thanks,
Jamie

Check the Polygons -> Tool Options -> Keep Faces Together and try the extrusion again...

Thanks Kevin. I'll try it tonight.
And please hurry with the head tutorial. Are you guys gonna make a movie tutorial on patch modeling too? Patch modeling is not that hard...just keeping the lines consistant to be stitch is the hardest modeling process I ever encounter with NURBs....so I gave up for the time being till I finish the subdivision first.
