Render View Window Help

Hello. Simply Mayans

i need a quick help. i think i messed with some settings and my render view window might be acting a tad funny.

i do the render view. and it renders more than i see on persp. view.

user added image
i want to render just the head, at the set resolution

but it renders all the useless crap i dont need! and head is much smaller in render.

plz help me, thank u kind people.

turn on the camera's resolution gate so you can frame your shots before rendering

yes i am modeling angelina jolie.

i turn on the resolution gate, and it is actually bigger than the perspective view.. so the res gate goes past the screen in persp view.

i set the render view to 640x480, for higher quality.. but should that make the res gate to be so large?

i just wish it was back to normal again, but to render in higher resolution. when i change to 320 x whatever.. it is still same.

anyone know how to change the res gate size in persp. view back?
