hehe thanks
Its a scene in my movie that me and a friend are doing, mostly my friend but i knewsome interesting particle dynamics taht could make an expanding ring of fire or in this case lightup blue crap. Its a free tutorial here, you should try it out. Anyways, thatnks. Heres an update on car.
yeah, lol, if i did it right that was what it was supposed to do.
Hey, I swear if you people reading this thread dont say anything i will... I will... I will cut you so bad... you wished I didn't cut you!
joking, but i would like more comments... it feels like im talking to myself.
I do enough of that in my head already... joking
Hi,
It looks like your building the car using nurbs which for your second model ever could be a bit of a handful.
IMO you should learn to make things in polys
Also it looks like your trying to put to much detail into the car to early
In my experience I prefer to model the car using polys all as one piece so that includes the windows and everything as a shell of the car once I am happy with the basic shape I extract the different parts and then add more detail in afterwards.
A little desperate for C&C are we? hehe
I think the car modeling looks quite good, especially as you just started with maya. Although I do agree with Rob here about the basic shape and working in polys.
Like this I think it'll be also very hard to render properly because of all the different surfaces and if one doesn't close up on another it won't look so good.
Keep it up, would like to see some progress.
Thank you for the c&c. i guess after this i will try to model something with polys with... patch modeling... but there is yall goin at it against NURBS. its not a andful, ill tell you that, but the rest is prolly true...
Thanks anyways
Not gonna work on that for a day or two, just got mouth/gum surgery and i cant talk and my mouth feels like its gonna fall off. Cant concentrate on maya rite now. Sorry..
