I think it needs something behind the grill to hide the fact that it has no engine. On the hood, is the what is the pattern supposed to be? Paint? Mesh? just curious. as always though a very solid piece of work.

The hood is made out of carbon fibre hence the pattern. I said what I was using this for in the other post but since it was deleted I will explain again. The car is going to be used in a night time street race animation so hopefully you wont be able to see through the mesh as the cars will always be moving fast and it will also be slightly dark with glow coming off the headlights so that should hide some of the emptiness

Thanks for the comment

what kind of car is it modeled after? some sort of VW?
i think if someone pulled up to a street race with purple headlight cutout decals and massive wing they would get laughed at.
but the rims look a bit too plain for the car, looks like the guy that modded the car ran out of money when it came time to get rims.

maybe make the rims a dark black or gunmetal with a polished lip or something.

Its modelled after a Vauxhall (opel) Corsa and the original version had a green / purple pearl effect hence the purple lights

If you think this would get laughed at you should see some of the cars that race round here user added image no sense of style these people
