Houdini vs Maya

Hello,

Is it true that what they say: Houdini is better than Maya?

Im not familiar with it but generally every application does somethign better than another application. One might have better modeling and tools aspect another better rendering section or texturing power...

Ide say it matters on what you need to do with it.
