Seperating geometry

Hey guys you know how you can combine polygonal elements by going to polygons> Combine

Is there a way to do the opposite? I combined the teeth of my model with the head, but shouldn't have. help....

select the faces that make up the teeth and extract them, no dental pun intended.

go to edit polygons-->separate

Basically, This will separate all you shapes that are not physically connected to each other into separate objects. If you just did "combine" on the teeth and mouth then this should separate them correctly.
