It's a silver tutorial.

As a former employee I have access to the software and downloads.

I must say I am disappointed that Alias has made tutorials part of the 3 tier service model. I am hoping they will abandon this practice and once again offer the tutorials to anyone that wants to learn 3D modeling with Maya.

I was a big propoent of the learning editions of the software and I feel to offer the learning edition of the package and then restrict access to tutorials is a bad idea and will only upset potential customers and drive them to other packages.

I really have a deep hatred for all marketing and business major types and truely wish for all the souless bastages to rot in the flames of hell for all eternity. But that is just my humble opinion.

Pay as you Go

No I totally agree with you, it is daft!!!!!
I wanted to download a tutorial today but it was also
FOR SILVER MEMBERS ONLY!!!

Ok they want to make extra dosh $$$$ but I would have
thought that they would help us learn sothat we may
be "children of maya" so to speak...
You know... like a language, it is easier to speak the toungue
you first were taught... you will never really convert totally
to "german" if you spoke English first... know what I mean?....

Oh well what can we do, I for one will pay for a tutorial if it is
really that good anyway...

Cheers
