It's a good start mate, what I would say to try and get it looking a little better is to try and the make the head of the hammer look seperate from the handle. At the moment it just seams to merge into one. Also the bottom of the handel is looking a bit weird for some reason. The head is more or less done as far as I can see.

Now to have to start thinking about the textures user added image

not bad at all even if its easy enough to create.can you show the wire.
