Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

being put on hold?

I get alot of different explanations when I ask the definition of an employer putting a freelance contractor on hold. Could someone please explain this to me once and for all?

If you agree to be put on hold but then the project gets pulled, should the employer pay you a fee? For instance, if I agree to be on hold for one employer A and then have to turn down work from another employer B because of this. If employer A's project gets cancelled then I lost my chance to work for Employer B. Should I then be compensated some amount?

Thanks!

Yes IMO tell them if you have to make yourself available for work you'd like some form of retainer.
