Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

If simplymaya want some code to autogenerate an rss straight out of records in the database then just ask (presuming you're after a php/mysql version as the forums here use).

The one I use will just need a database connection object setting up (or use PEAR DB) and then some preferences setting up in the config file (how often to cache the feed etc..
It generates most types of RSS (think I have it on RSS2 at the moment) and is easy to rewrite variants such as ten latest posts, archive posts etc.
I've tested it in SharpReader too and it works fine (as you'd hope)

Just let me know user added image

Summarized, it's the way most webmasters use now to propagate their last infos "published" on their site(s)/forums/databases.

Last 10 post topic/titles or, 15 last added products e.g. are exported (data speaking) into some XML file. This file is then "linked" (various ways) to other sites. These sites parse the file each time you load the page containing the 'distant view" of the infos.

That's a RSS feeding.

Like displaying 20 lasts topic/posts from simplyMaya, but directly on my site for example. Once the link's done, that's it.

Hope I'm clear enough dude user added image

Because it would take time to generate a feed by creating raw rss data and I'd pity the person that had to do that every day (besides it being impractical).
