Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Daimei the Dino (pronounced Daymee) - R@nSiD

Hi All,

Not been here for a while, with all my work being taken up with the Etherea Game, but I managed time to get this going, a lot of texturing to do. Crits and Comments Please... user added image

Thats nice and cute, looks like he's got a mischievious glint in his eye user added image
I'd say a little more definition in the feet would help.

Btw, you should get some screenshots of that etherea game up on its website so it starts attracting attention to itself.

I relly want to get images up for the Buildings and objects I have been creating, but we are restricted by a non-disclosure agreement that only allows me to use them within the game and for my own demo reel/portfolio. user added image

Bumps are relatively easy to setup, but can get harder to get 100% right.

Try these from Digital Tutors:

Free Rendering Tutes
PSD Networks
Displacement Maps
Normal Maps
More Displacement Maps
UV Mapping
Hypershade Panel
To access these tutes you will need to register, but its a great site.

This should cover quite a lot for you. Also SM have some excellent tutes for free or to buy that cover loads of topics...

This is a bunch of links to the Digital Tutors website Free Rendering tutorials. Both this site and SM have been great for helping and learning. My top tip would be get stuck in play and learn, its one of the best ways to learn.
