Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

trouble with .x Export

hi everyone,

i installed the .x file exporter from the dx sdk yesterday and made just a cube with a texture and normals.

when i load that object into my application i cant get lightning to work.

could it be that the normals or the materials get messed up in the export?

thx a lot in advance for any hints you can give me
