Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
do an animation and output as image sequences (individual frames) and then take into something like Paint Shop Pro which (hopefully still) has a tool for creating animated gifs from the frames you have. Make sure the background is a flat colour and set that colour as transparent in each frame.
