getting the skellington in to the model

hey i took the free tut on the skellington of a dog, and i just need help.... i was wondering if there was a way to get the skellington in to the model so for when i render it and animate it will move the obj thanks.

You need to bind the skeleton to the object, have a look in the help files on how to go about it as it has a few tutorials in there

Have a look in mayas help files (Press F1 then do a search) if not theres loads of skin binding tutorials on the net, google it and you should get some good tutorails on the net (try rigging or skinning a skeleton in maya) Should get you going

dont you just select the root joint and [shift] select the shell of the dog and hit [skin/ bind skin/ rigid bind]????
