Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

through a plugin written through very advanced c or c++ code that can take years to write and that probably won't work

i'm sorry, but your question is stupid.
I can tell you've done 0 research before posting

In Maya, you don't make AI. You animate the characters. You are the puppetmaster, the characters are the puppets. They don't think, or do anything for themselves. But when u animate them, you can make them "seem" to think for themselves if you do it right, by animating realistically and etc.

As my question is stupid ... can you advise me to something that has to deal with AI ?
I dont want to deal with VRML or even if there is no other way i suppose there is no connection between VRML and MAYA ?

I am new one to these tools so please... be a little gentle.
:headbang:

Is XSI program gonna help me to this or not ?
I am just trying to get the best direction , thats all...

maya is a rendering program for making pictures or movies like king kong or the incredibles. It does not work in real time, and is not a virtual reality program. It is basically an art program, for making 3d models in a computer. Asking to put AI in maya is like asking to put AI in photoshop or MS paint. If you are interested in some virtual reality program, Maya is not the place to look.

I'm sorry but I think it is not a very nice thing to call anybodys question stupid MattTheMan. Especially if someone is new to maya. If you consider someones question stupid just don't answer.
Not everyone has the programming skills and background knowledge you have.

also try making your thread titles more appropriate.

there is a software called massive that does just that.
https://www.massivesoftware.com/index.html
theres maya plug ins or translators, you can try to research yourself instead of waiting on forums for people to answer for
you.

and yes XSI maybe a better option for this; as the already have built in tools for that.
i pointed you to the web site in your other thread not too long ago.
try Google too....

I have searched inside google but no luck !
Thats why i tried to find something from here...
I guess A.I. is so stupid that people dont bother to answer... :-)

XSI is a complicated tool and i am trying a way to find out how can do this.

Thanx anyway....

p.s. Massive is a good tool as i am looking at but too expensive!
