Problem image texturing plane.

Hi i have a problem.
Since a day or three maya doesnt want to texture a plane right.
If i make a lambert and put a image on that, then i get this:
(Please help me to fix this, if never had this problem before)

hi
if its a poly plane then you can use a planar projection which is under Edit polygons - Texture - Planar Mapping,

if not then you can make the file texture itself a projection. this is done when you add the file texture to the lambert. there is a selection that changes the type from normal to projection. this allows you to fit the texture to the shape.

Yes its a poly plane.
But i cant find both the options you are saying.
Please but some screens from it.

i see that ur usin maya 7 an this is a common prob with that version

Yes in maya.enc .. in your maya docs folder put in... MAYA_NON_POWER_TWO_OFF = 1;

there at the bottom of the page

the maya.env is a file which u open with wordpad or note pad an u add that line to it

locate the file

Can't find the enc file,

do a search

start -> search

chose files

and type in maya.env

btw its .env as the first link was slightly off

Lol the post said .enc but it was .env liek you told me.
Now i got it and it works.
