Studio Chess Piece Render

Well, here is another quick render- to try my hand render setup in Indigo. I am pleased, but the pawn could have been a bit less reflective.

Looks nice but the edges are kind of unsharp and grainy.

well the grain is from small render time- ill rerender it all day today to see how it looks.

Nice, exported from maya with your script?
Yes, it looks a bit too much reflective, but what material are you trying to imitate (stone, etc...)?

polished black stone (like elegant chess piece, on expensive set).

Oh well, that mini render thing is done. I'm making a better one now of something else.
