Texture quality in vector rendering?

I am working on an animation to be rendered in vector for flash, but when I apply a texture to a model, the texture has no detail.

I was wondering if it's possible to get around this somehow, so that the texture is displayed clearly?

Thanks.

i believe vector render does not support textures only shaders

No worries peeps, I seem to have found a solution:

Increase the number of polygons on the plane - the more polygons, the more squares it renders and therefore the more detail it can output (it seems to only place a single colour per square)

If there's a more efficient way to solve this then please let me know.
