Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Blend shapes prior to rigging?

Do you have to create the blend shapes prior to rigging if you plan on using them? Would it have any adverse effects if I rigged first then came back to do the blend shapes?

yes, create blendshapes before you rig up.

from experience.. yes it will. blendshapes first.
