FLUID QUESTION?

I am trying to create an animation with fluid being poured from one glass to another.

Any ideas on the best way to do this?

I am using GLU3D, and have created what i want, but as its only a trial version, it can't be batch rendered! :angery:

I have heard a few reviews about glu3d that perhaps it isnt worth forking out £400+ for the full version as it has a few bugs (being created for 3DSMAX).

I love experimenting in fluids and have so many ideas, but was wondering the best route to take or best software (if any needed) to purchase. Even scripts??

Thanx very much in advance

If you are a student, seems Realflow may be much cheaper and also much better.

1. Is there an educational version of RF4 for schools?

Yes there is. The educational license costs $95 and has no technical limitations, it is a full license. It has no time limit. Also, it does not include the Box. It is download only. The manual is integrated in the software, it is no longer printed.

Normally, you can buy the software from our website, but for the student offer, you can just email us directly at salesdesk at nextlimit dot com

To qualify for the educational license I need the following:

- Faculty ID (with photo if possible)
- Any other kind of Photo ID
- Proof of employment
- Any examples of your work in 3D.

Challenge me and I will try. Because If I should fail, failure also has a prize (Knowledge).
