Coffe Machine

We had a challenge a few weeks ago at college to create a coffee machine.

This is what I produced. We only had one day. This took around 7 hours including comping. I used final Gather and rendered 3 passes, spec, Occullsion and Z-depth.

Yep I agree the cup looks a little too transparent. I was kicking myself lots after I handed it in. :headbang:

I rushed the post prod and added a little too much occulsion and noise to the image. Typical But you get that!!. Maybe I do better next time!!.

That coffee machine looks like it might have a life of its own! Nice job!

My main crit is that the coffee machine and the background are too similar in shade. I'd have used darler tiles, but maybe you had no choice in the matter. Otherwise, looks VERY nice! One of these days I have to experiment with final gather!

great coffee machine, and the textures look nice and cool... i havnt seen one of these coffee machines used in ages,

i agree there black/ marble tiles would go really good with the scene but great modeluser added image
