Unattach mirror objects

Ok I mirrored my chest in the beginning of my project and deleted history which sucks cause now when I did my legs they mirror but they are stuck together, and not by a vertex or anything just they move as one even though their not physically connected.

I want to seperate my mirror images once they're mirrored how do I do it?

Ok I solved the issue if anyone else runs into this. Mirror images link to eachother whether physically connected or not. To seperate them You must enter face mode and highlight all of one of the objects and you can move the single object freely to your destination.
