Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

video effects tracking

is there a way to add a video to the scene and then track an object in the video to add an effect the that object is there a simple way to do it

I know After Effects pro supports tracking. don't know about Maya though, sorry.

Maya lets you import your footage as a series of iamges, you can then add effects to it that way via rotoscoping the object in question
