This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
heh, yea i know, so heres a bit more, havnt checked yet but i smoothed after this then setup a light scene etc, and couldnt go back far enough to unsmooth!!! hoping i have a recent save... or i gotta redo the entire cd tray again.
the colours arnt correct i know, and the xbox sign is wrong but i wanted to share a bit more progress, hope u like.

the text will become indented intime on the xbox, soon as i get round to texturing, a few more things to add on the front then onto getting the main shape perfected and onto the finer detail.

that's definitely not coming out. also, i think you're using the wrong font. you can find sites that comment on which font to use, etc. if you want to create text with a 'famous' font.
