Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

You can also look at other peoples work and copy it by hand to get a feel for what diffrent artitst do. just dont make it your own. and also dont make their style your own style. it helps to see the actual image that someone has done. so you can look up at it closely. i know i didnt start to get drawing until i looked at other peoples work up close.
