This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

good day all of u.
i am verry new on maya , and i have buy the 8.5 version , an i would like to know from you ( the persones who has good experienece with maya) to recommand for me the right way to start learning maya, and to recommend me the right tutorials for trainning , my experience with maya is below zero. but i can learn fast. if i get the right tools. thank you for trying to help me.:attn: :bow: :bow:

one way (which i highly recommend) is by buying some introduction to maya dvds. some start off by introducing the way maya works. ie. workflow. some other dvds start off with a project and along the way they explain each tool and how to use it.

digital tutors
gnomonworkshop

of course those are just some of the dvds that are out there.
but those might help you out some.


A pint of example is worth a gallon of advice!!
