Larger textures

Is it possible to create textures larger then 2000x2000?
Or do I have to create several textures for the same object?

yeah you can have the textures as large as you want to, just type in the size you want

That doesnt seem to work for me, whenever I type in something larger then 2048x 2048 it just goes down to 2048x2048. :S

i could only go up to 2048 a while back, but after i upgraded to a better graphics card, i can now go alot higher.

Aww blasted graphic card, I guess I cant do anything about it then. :/
