Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Most Likely Dumb

When I start to work on this character ill create a limb(cylinder) .. line it up and then start moving vertices. If I add isoparms afterwards I can no longer move vertices. Maya registers the move and lets me undo but the actual model never deforms. Its like the vertices get frozen. Any help on this?

Are you working in NURBS or Polys. Vertices are found in polygons only and Isoparms are found in NURBS only?

Are you switching back and forth? Not recommended.

The points in NURBS are called CV's and the Isoparms in polys are called Edges.

If you have added isoparms or edges to any geometry then there should not a problem with then moving the CV's or Verts. maybe you have items turned off when you are in component mode?

Can you post a screenshot?
